You have the option of requiring users in your environment to use two-factor authentication when logging in to HEFLO.
They will then have to log in with their password and authentication with an application such as Google authenticator or Authy.
This involves receiving a unique, temporary code : One-time password (OTP) on a separate device, usually through a mobile app. The code is entered along with the password to complete the authentication process.
You can enable this option for yourself and for a specific role in your environment.
Add Two-factor authentication for a specific Role:
- Click on the side menu.
- Click on “Manage Environment”.
- Click on “Users and Authorization”.
- Click on the “Roles” tab.
- Choose the role you want to require this type of authentication to.
- In the chosen role, check the “User must activate 2fa” option.
Now, all users that have this role will have to provide the code generated by the authentication app each time they try to login to HEFLO, after typing their password.
To disable this option, follow the same steps mentioned above, and uncheck the “User must activate 2fa” option.
Add Two-Factor authentication to yourself:
- Click on your avatar.
- Click on “My account”.
- Enable the “Use two-factor authentication” option.
- Confirm.
Now, each time you want to login to HEFLO, you will need to provide the code generated by the authentication app after typing your password.
To disable this option, follow the same steps mentioned above, and disable the “Use two-factor authentication” option.
