Categorization can allow you to better organize your different business processes.
HEFLO allows you to classify your business processes into categories. You can also view the list of these categories, update them and even archive them.
How to create and associate a category?
There are two methods to create a category.
Method 1:
In the process editor, click on the “properties” icon on the right.
Click on the “+” icon in the section: “Category”.
In the dialog box, you must choose a name. You also have the option of associating a color and an icon for your category.
Then click on “confirm”.
You can then associate this new category by selecting it in the field: “category” found in the process properties.
You will then find in this field all the categories available in this HEFLO environment.
Method 2:
You can access the list of categories. To do this, click on the “view editor tools” icon at the top of the process editor screen, then click on “Categories”.
Then click on the “+” icon:
As seen previously, you must choose a name. You also have the option of associating a color and an icon for your category.
Then click on “confirm”.
Once the category has been created, you can then return to the process editor, select the process concerned and update the category of this process:

After associating processes with a category, you can then search for your processes by filtering by category:
In the process editor, click the folder icon at the top.
Click the orange arrow in the dialog box.
The list of existing categories will then be displayed.
Click on one of these categories to display the processes associated with it.
In the process portal:
Published processes will be marked with the color and logo of the category to which they belong.
In a process landscape:
You can associate an element of a process landscape with the set of BPMN 2.0 processes associated with a category. This feature allows you to improve and personalize your users’ navigation in the process portal.

How to remove the association of a category with a process?
To remove a process association from a category:
In the process editor, click on “properties”, and in the “category” field, click on “x” to remove the association of this category to the process.
A message then appears to confirm that the update has been made.
If you access the list of processes to edit, and choose this category, the process will no longer appear among the processes of this category.
How to archive a category?
On HEFLO, you can also archive your categories, to do this:
On the category list, click the pencil icon in the row that corresponds to the category you want to archive.
Click “yes” to confirm.
To see archived categories, simply select “ON” on: “Show archived”, and all categories, archived or not, will appear in the list.
If you want to see only archived categories, then you need to add the “Archived” column.
Then you must filter on this column to display only the lines with the information “True”.
To restore a category that has been archived, click the pencil icon to edit the category, and click “Restore”.
