How to import a BPMN file

From the home page, process editor or workspace, you can import to your environment files on BPMN layout which is defined by OMG.

Method 1:

  1. Click on the “+” at the top of your screen.
  2. Click on “Import process”.
  3. On the dialog “Upload Process”, drag a file to the drop zone or click the drop zone to select process(es) you want to upload from your computer.
  4. Confirm the file selection.
  5. On the dialog “Upload Process”, click “Confirm.”
  6. A new tab is opened to show the process on the process editor. If your browser blocks the new tab, then you have to allow popups from https://app.heflo.com.

Method 2:

  1. On the process editor, click on “Actions” tab.
  2. In the “Import/Export” section click on “Import BPMN” button.
  3. Click on “Upload process” field.
  4. Choose the process you want to upload from your computer.
  5. A new tab(s) will be opened to show the process on the process editor. If your browser blocks the new tab, then you have to allow popups from https://app.heflo.com. 
  6. If you’re opening on the editor a process and click on “import BPMN” you’ll be asked whether or not you want to create a new version of it. If you click on “yes”, then the imported process will be placed in the next version of the process, however if you choose to click on “No”, it will replace the process in edition.

Please Note that the imported processes must have a “.BPMN extention”
