Grammar Checker and Text Rewriting

📌 What is this feature for?

HEFLO’s built-in grammar checker instantly improves the quality of your writing. You can:

  • Correct spelling and grammar mistakes.
  • Rewrite sentences for clearer and more natural phrasing.

This feature is especially useful for quickly reviewing titles, task descriptions, or any other text before publishing.

How to use it?

You can use this feature when documenting your processes or creating message templates (emails or notifications).

  1. Select the relevant item.
    Click the desired item and go to its documentation editing screen. 
  2. Click on the “Grammar Checker” icon.
    An icon will appear at the top right of the editor. 
  3. Choose the desired action.

    • Correct grammar and spelling: HEFLO automatically detects errors and suggests a corrected version.
    • 🔄 Rewrite text: HEFLO suggests a clearer and more natural rewriting of your text.
  4. Review and validate the suggestion.
    You can view the proposed text, see the differences with the previous version, and validate the change.

💡 It is also possible to apply these actions to only part of a text. Simply select the specific text, and the icon will appear above your selection to perform the desired action.

🎯 Good to know

  • The grammar checker is also available when composing emails from the Conversation tab of a work item, if your environment has an OpenAI API key configured. 
  • The detected language matches the text entered. Make sure your sentences are written in the intended language before using the tool.
  • This feature uses artificial intelligence to provide quick and natural corrections. However, we still recommend proofreading your texts before final publication.
