A lane defines who is responsible for a group of tasks of a business process.

To add a lane to the pool in the process editor, there are to ways:

Method 1:

1. Click on one lane in your process pool.
2. The lane will be marked in blue, click on the “+” icon.
3. Resize the lane as much as you need to.
4. To name it, double click on “Lane” and type the proper name that is relevant to your process. Or select the lane and go to the properties tab, and in the text section type the relevant name in the place of “Lane”.

Method 2:

1. Right click on the one pool’s lane.
2. From the list, click on ”Add a lane”.
3. Resize the lane as much as you need to.
4. You can name it by following the steps seen previously.

If you want to move the lane inside the pool, just click on its name, keep the button pressed and move down or up.
